Comfort in Times of Struggle

Everyone needs this message! - Catherine E.

We live in scary times.

Conflicts around the world fill news shows with images of death and destruction.

Changing weather patterns create monster storms and natural disasters that shock and horrify us.

Rising prices make us wonder if we’ll be able to afford gasoline for the car - or food for the table.

Scary times.

Dreadful illnesses that we thought were a thing of the past are making a comeback. Medical care - and the drugs to manage disease - are increasingly unavailable to those who need them most.

Despite modern conveniences, people today have less leisure time than their great-grandparents. Families have less time together than ever before, with family meals more memory than reality. The divorce rate is at an all-time high, and rising annually.

Is it any wonder that stress is epidemic among us? How can we hope to find peace in a world filled with pain?

God will make a way, where there is none that you can see. . .

It’s easy to forget that we’re not alone, that we move through life accompanied by the Angels and our loving Creator. In the midst of our pain, we may not hear the gentle guidance and assurance they offer us.

We need something to bring us back to the truths that have guided countless generations.

Like a lighthouse shining in the darkness, Only Trust - the poem and image by the Angel Ladies - is a beacon of hope.

When life seems too hard, too hopeless, Only Trust reminds us that there is a Divine Plan and that, despite the pain of the moment, all will be well.

Nothing is too hard for God, in whose image you are made...

The Poem...

The Video.....

This beautiful poem came to Jean after a health crisis in 2008 and became our prayer during her recent stay in hospital.  God does make a way and is faithful.  These words have brought us strength and we know they have meant so much to others going through challenges.
